A New Year with new resolutions? Why not take some time to explore what Christianity is all about and find out if it really matters to you in the 21st century. It’s time to discover!
Starting in January 2013, Christianity Explored is an informal way to investigate Christianity or simply brush up on the basics. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome. You won’t be asked to read aloud, sing or pray, you don’t need to know anything about the Bible, you can ask any question you want. A great way to start the New Year.
Using Mark’s Gospel as the basis for each week, the 7 week course investigates who Jesus is and gives opportunity for people to ask questions and discuss the issues raised. There is also a Saturday morning to explore as well.
Each evening starts with light refreshments. This is followed by time in small groups to discuss a passage from Mark’s Gospel followed by a 15 minute DVD session and plenty of time for small group interaction before the evening finishes at 9.15pm.
The course has proved very helpful to many people and many have discovered who Jesus is and committed their lives to follow Him.
