As a parent/guardian we want your experience at Locks Heath Free Church to be a really positive one - where you and your family have the opportunity to participate in a variety of mid-week or weekend activities. We understand that you need the reassurance that your children are being cared for in safe and secure surroundings. We work hard at Locks Heath Free Church to make sure that the spiritual, physical and emotional safety of all children is of paramount importance.

Security checks for volunteers
All staff and volunteers who work with children have extensive screening checks carried out, which include background, legal and reference checks as well as personal interviews with children's ministry and church staff. Child protection courses also run regularly to keep training up to date.

Parents Facilities at LHFC
For your comfort and enjoyment we have some useful parents areas. A parent and baby room is provided for parents and their infants to use, which has been equipped with changing facilities, feeding chairs, cots and cribs. An intercom system to the main auditorium is also provided in this room. This is open during the 9am and 11am adult services on a Sunday morning, and during the week. Parents must take full responsibility for their children whilst using this room.

Baby Changing Facilities at LHFC
Baby changing facilities are available for use at all times. Baby changing stations are located in the disabled access toilet, and in the parent/baby room on the ground floor of the building.

Resources
Our bookstall has a wide variety of children's books, CDs and resources - and many for parents too.

Wellness policy
To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask that children who are unwell do not attend KFJ at the weekend, or children's ministry events during the week. If very young children need to stay with you during a weekend service, please make use of the parent/baby room, which has an intercom system to the main auditorium.
